It was a Petty Day in Linwood, and Mainland ace Chase Petty pitched another gem. In his third start of the season, Petty twirled a complete game one-hitter, striking out 17 in front of plenty of MLB scouts. The Florida commit also drove hit a triple, a double, and drove in a pair of runs at the plate. Brody Levin and Sam Wood also drove in two runs apiece in the victory for the Mustangs (8-0).

Cranford 9 Gov. Livingston 5
Cranford continued its domination over Union County Conference competition Tuesday in an offensive outburst against Gov. Livingston. Cranford (8-0) was powered by multi-RBI days from Shea Grady and Marcus Johnson while also playing successful small-ball at the right times. Gov. Livingston (7-2) looks to rebound against Union on Friday.
