The Bergen Catholic – Don Bosco rivalry always brings out the best between these two Bergen County rivals. However, on Monday, the pendulum swung in favor of the Crusaders.

Left-hander Christian Charalambous threw 99 pitches across 6.1 innings and struck out six batters in a dominant pitching effort against the Ironmen. Charalambous did not allow a run Monday evening.

Carsten Sabathia powered the offense and went 2-4 with a double and an RBI in the win. Don Bosco, however, is ice cold and has only collected two hits in their last two games.
