A top 10 matchup between two Skyland Conference teams, #4 North Hunterdon downed #9 Phillipsburg for their third straight win over the Stateliners. The Lions trailed for the majority of the match until heavyweight Liam Akers pinned Jordan Kiley and North Hunterdon closed out the match with two majors from Logan Wadle and Ben Makaritis. Raritan 45 Red Bank Catholic 27

The Rockets had three pins and two early forfeits to race out to a lead and hang on against a Caseys team that won six matches. Robert Mulligan escaped a pin in the first period at 160 pounds and came from behind for an impressive 11-7 win over Christian Ungemah and Nicholas Burns closed out the match at 220 pounds with a beautiful lateral drop to earn a pin. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the Shore Conference highlights from Hazlet:

Robbinsville 51 Hightstown 24

In a battle of the Colonial Valley Conference’s last unbeaten teams, Robbinsville (4-0) defeated Hightstown (3-1) 51-24. The Ravens began the match with back to back pins from R.J. Strandling (170) and Nick Migliaccio (180) to go ahead 6-0 early. Hightstown capitalizing on forfeits cut the lead to 15-12, but that is as close as the matchup would get as Robbinsville finished with seven pins.
