For the first time in program history Manchester advances to the Tournament of Champions Semifinals with a 74-44 win over phenom Kylee Watson and Group 3 State Champs Mainland. The Hawks led by West Virginia University commit Leilani Correa and 6’3 sophomore Destiny Adams took a commanding 28 point lead at halftime. The duo combine for 40 points on the night, Correa with 24 and Adams finished with 16. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:

The Purple Roses opened the Tournament of Champions with a 61-45 win over the Phoenix. Brynn Farrell led the way with 20 points in the victory. Abigail Antognoli chipped in with 12 points, and Makayla Andrews added 11 points off the bench. Taneshia Tucker scored a team-high 20 points for University in the loss.
