Hopewell Valley 7 Kearny 0 | Public “A” Opening Round

Hopewell Valley (12) kicked off the opening round of the NJSIAA Boys Ice Hockey Public A Tournament with a dominating 7-0 win over Kearny (21). Michael Boyer and Trent Demers both found net twice for the Bulldogs. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:

Middletown North 6 Vernon 0 | Public “C” Opening Round

John Miranda had two goals and Matt Corella was outstanding in net with a 28-save shutout to give the Lions a spot in the Round of 16 and a matchup with #3 seed Ramsey this Friday night. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights from Middletown Ice World:
