Hopewell Valley 1 Burlington Township 0 – Central Group 3 Semifinals
Tuesday’s matchup in the Central Group 3 Semifinals between Burlington Township and Hopewell Valley was an 80 minute defensive battle. Despite coming off an upset win against No. 1 ranked Allentown in the previous round, Hopewell Valley was able to limit the Falcons thanks to a 10 save effort by sophomore Braylee Walters. Late in the first Emily Cooke scored the only goal of the game for the fifth seeded Bulldogs to send them to the sectional final where they will face second seed Brick Township on 11/9. Middletown North 2 West Morris – North 2 Group 3 Semifinals
Darien Rinn and Ashley Dietrich scored in the first 15 minutes as the Lions reach the 20-1 mark and will host Cranford in the sectional finals this Friday. Haley Martin had 11 saves in net for the shutout. JSZ has the highlights from Middletown:
Delsea 4 West Deptford 2 – South Jersey Group 2 Semifinals
Sophomore Peyton Gilmore had a hat trick for the third straight game and the top-seeded Crusaders raced out to a 3-0 lead to advance to the South Jersey Group 2 Finals. JSZ has the highlights from Rowan University:
