Don Bosco Prep 1 Newark Academy 0 | Boys | Non-Public “A” North Quarterfinal
Noah Granados’ early goal in the fourth minute ultimately proved to be the difference for the Ironmen in this playoff match. Fourth-seeded Don Bosco Prep (12-4-1) leaned on the steady goalkeeping of Griffin Bobnick, who logged three saves, to help secure the victory. The Ironmen will now turn their focus to top-seeded Delbarton in the sectional semifinals on Friday.

Pingry 4 Notre Dame 0 | Boys | Non-Public “A” South Quarterfinal
(3) Pingry advances to the Non-Public “A” South Semifinals following a 4-0 victory over (6) Notre Dame. After a near scoreless half, Mitchell Oldham got Pingry on the board with a goal in the 39th minute to take a 1-0 lead at halftime. A made penalty kick from Thomas Yanez and two goals from junior Jonathan Mitchell secured the victory for Big Blue late as they will face (2) St. Peter’s Prep in the Semifinal Round.

St. Augustine 1 Paul VI 0 | Boys | Non-Public “A” South Quarterfinal
Ryan Wieand netted his seventh goal of the season to lead the fourth-seeded Hermits into the sectional semifinals. Mason Taylor racked up nine saves and picked up a clean sheet in net for St. Augustine (16-2). Matt Corsetti finished with seven saves in the loss for fifth-seeded Paul VI (10-6-3). St. Augustine will face top-seed Christian Brothers Academy on Friday.
