Middletown South 1 Wall 0 | Girls | Shore Conference Tournament 1st Round

Freshman Riley Kapler’s goal in the 73rd minute was the difference in the match as the top two teams in the Shore Conference met each other early in the knockout round.  The Eagles and Crimson Knights both came into the match with just one loss each.  With both teams finishing second in Group play, the draw found them head to head early in the knockout round.  Middletown South travels to Brick Memorial on Thursday in the Round of 16.

Mainland 4 Bridgeton 1 | Boys

The Mustangs used a three-goal surge in the first half to power past the Bulldogs and grab their sixth-straight victory. James Breitinger and David O’Donnell had a goal and an assist during the big first half for Mainland (11-3-1). Ben Christodoulou added his second goal of the season, while Cooper Brookbank netted his team-leading 12th goal in the victory. Andersson Chilisna Camaja scored his 14th goal of the year in the loss for Bridgeton (8-5-3).
