The Mustangs delivered one of the most incredible moments of the season so far, knocking off the previously-undefeated Red Raiders in a double-overtime thriller. Senior Camryn Dukes netted the golden goal at the buzzer to snap Ocean City’s 45-game unbeaten streak and give Mainland (9-2-1) a signature victory on the season.

After one hundred minutes and two full overtime periods, we still don’t have a definitive answer as to whom will likely earn the No. 2 overall seed in the upcoming Shore Conference Tournament. Freehold Township (9-2-1) and Toms River North (8-1-1) fought to a scoreless tie in Ocean County on Tuesday. Both teams were paced by stellar performances from their respective goalkeepers- Dawson Kanuik for the Mariners and Richard Lockard for the Patriots.
