Bergen Catholic 50 Ramapo 43 | Boys

Declan Wucherpfennig took over in crunch time on his way to a game-high 20 points as the Crusaders picked up a bounce back against the Raiders. Julius Avent finished with 12 points while AJ Williams added nine points in the win for Bergen Catholic (6-2). Chris Cervino scored a team-high 16 points while Princeton commit Peyton Seals chipped in with 12 points in the loss for Ramapo (4-4).

Saint Rose 65 Rumson-Fair Haven 39 | Girls

The Purple Roses busted open a 25-24 halftime lead with an 18-0 run to start the second half paced by Tanaiyah Decker’s 21 points and Jada Lynch who had 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals.  Saint Rose improved to 6-2 on the season, while RFH is now 5-3. The Bulldogs were led by Ella Mason’s 13 point effort.

St. Thomas Aquinas 85 East Brunswick 57 | Girls

St. Thomas Aquinas (6-2) picked up a third straight win following an 85-57 victory over East Brunswick (5-3). Locked into a tight back and forth battle in the first half of play, The Trojans exploded in the third quarter thanks to late efforts from six foot sophomore Trista Whitney and junior Gianna Chuffo. Whitney finished with 17 while Chuffo had 18, Jordan Barnes added 14 points.
