JSZ hits the ice yet again on Tuesday bringing you a pair of conference showdowns as the regular season continues along. We’ll have highlights from the always-interesting Delbarton/Don Bosco Prep battle and a Shore Conference tilt between Manasquan and Middletown North.

Don Bosco Prep 3 Delbarton 3

Arguably the biggest hockey rivalry in the state of New Jersey renewed once more Tuesday, yet with a result that left both sides clamoring for more. Don Bosco Prep — the reigning Gordon Cup and Non-Public state champs — skated to a 3-3 tie against Delbarton — the team it beat in both of those title games last season. Connor Sedlak, Hunter McGee and William Fortescue all scored for the Ironmen while Chase Pirtle and Ben Conrod lit the lamp for the Green Wave. These two teams will not face each other in the remainder of the regular season but, of course, the Gordon Cup and Non-Public state playoffs still remain.

The Lions stayed in the game despite getting just nine shots on goal. Luke McNamara’s snipe in the third period proved to be the game-winner. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights from Middletown:
