Red Bank Catholic 3 Rumson-Fair Haven 2 (OT) | Girls

Morgan Cupo’s third goal of the game with 25.4 seconds in the first overtime period gave the Caseys a come-from-behind win on the road in a matchup of two teams ranked in the top 10 in the preseason state soccer polls. Katie Aglione gave RFH a 1-0 lead followed by Janey Sypeck making it 2-1 with 13:16 to go. Cupo was the beneficiary of three outstanding passes (Gianna Romeo, Jyvanna Harris and Iva Carton). Steinert 3 Lawrenceville 1 | Girls

Steinert starts the 2021 season 2-0 following a 3-1 win over Lawrenceville. After a self-scored goal by Lawrenceville, the Spartans went ahead 2-0 at halftime thanks to a score from Adriana Ryder. Kailey Conner added a goal in the 46’ while while goalie Gemma Goldenbaum had six saves. Steinert has now scored 10 goals in their first two games of the season.
