The Griffins used a nine-run fourth inning to blow things open as they powered past the Bengals in a divisional battle in the Shore Conference. Christina Ginex led the charge with a 3 RBI day as the Griffins picked up their fourth-straight win. Gianna Apostolakos and Dani Rodriguez each drove in a pair of runs for Donovan Catholic (12-3). Brianna Dato knocked in the lone run of the day for Barnegat (10-5).

Jillian Cianfrocca’s infield RBI single in the top of the 7th was the difference as NJ’s #1 ranked team in the latest state poll beat Livingston by a run for the second time this year. Ava Kalshaw was outstanding in the circle throwing a complete game three-hitter with just one walk and seven strikeouts.
