Williamstown 5 Ocean City 4 | Diamond Classic Opening Round
The Braves are off to a great start as the seven seed in the Diamond Classic after a hard-fought win over the Red Raiders. Senior Ryan Achey hit a pair of two-run home runs to power the Williamstown offense. Clutch pitching from Mike Cirucci and Greg Zerbe helped the Braves survive a late rally from 10th-seeded Ocean City (8-5). James Mancini had two RBIs for the Red Raiders in the loss. Williamstown (11-2) will now face St. Augustine in the quarterfinals of the Diamond Classic early next week.

Gloucester Catholic 9 Eastern 4 | Diamond Classic Opening Round
The Rams built a big lead before holding off the Vikings, and then pulled away late to advance in the Diamond Classic. Jeremy Wolf led the GC offensive attack with a pair of triples and three RBIs. Vinny Davis drove in a pair of runs, while Jason Morgan and Brayden Foster also had an RBI apiece for Gloucester Catholic (13-1). The Rams advance to host 13th-seeded West Deptford in the Diamond Classic quarterfinals early next week.
