Delbarton 6 Mountain Lakes 5 | Boys

No. 2 Delbarton begins the year 2-0 following a 6-5 victory over rival No. 10 Mountain Lakes to hand The Lakers their first loss of 2024. Delbarton would begin the game on a 3-0 run as senior Jack Amato landed a hat trick in the first half. The Green Wave led 6-2 to begin the third, but three unanswered goals from Mountain Lakes would see The Lakers trailing by one with a little over five minutes to play in the fourth. They would fall short as Delbarton was able to pull off a strong defensive stand late in regulation. Amato finished with three goals and an assist while Dartmouth commit Marco Dzamba had a pair of scores for Lakes.
