JSZ brings you a pair of huge matchups on the diamond as Pennington and Hun go to battle, plus St. Augustine and Ocean City open up a home-and-home series. Check back as the highlights are posted throughout the night!

Hun 2 Pennington 1

A true baseball rarity happened in Princeton as Hun won the game despite getting no-hit by the Pennington duo of Bryce Meccage and Ray Heaton.  Meccage once again drew over 20 MLB scouts and the University of Virginia commit impressed reaching 96 miles per hour on the radar gun recording six strikeouts and no hits allowed in four-plus innings of work.  After Pennington took a 1-0 lead in the third inning on a Joe Lifstead RBI grounder, Meccage walked a pair of batters in the fifth inning and exited after a wild pitch tied the game at one.  Ray Horton came on in relief and EJ Balewitz hit a grounder to second that scored Sam Wright on a fielder’s choice to give Hun a 2-1 lead.  Horton threw two hitless innings setting the stage for Luke Henderson in relief of Charles Batista to induce a 5-4-3 double play to end the game and give Hun a win with no hits.
