Northern Highlands 8 Randolph 3 | Public North Final

(2) Northern Highlands stunned the state by handing (1) Randolph its only loss of the year with a dominant 8-3 victory for the Public North Championship. Randolph got the game going with a goal from Shane Melly less than two minutes in, but Northern highlands responded with six unanswered goals to lead 7-2 entering the third period. The Highlanders will return to the Prudential Center for the first time since 2022, which was the last time they won a State Title. Senior Vincenzo Capano ended his night with four goals and two assists while junior Brent Beswick had three goals and three assists. They advance to take Public South Champions, Manalapan.

Manalapan 1 Westfield 0 | Public South Final

(3) Manalapan defeated (1) Westfield 2-1 for the Public South Championship. The game’s only score would come in the second period as Josh Kushnir found Mike Schmelzer with 8:27 remaining for Schmelzer’s 32nd goal of the season. Manalapan goalie Christian Esposito stole the show with a 36 save performance as the Braves captured their first Sectional Title in school history.
