JSZ brings you highlights from three great games around the state!


Montclair Immaculate 60 Seton Hall Prep 57 | Boys

Tavian Pullock and TJ Robinson combined to score 43 points for the Lions in a close win over the Pirates in Super Essex Conference action. Pullock led all scorers with a game-high 22 points and Robinson – a Louisville commit – was right behind with 21 points of his own for Montclair Immaculate (13-8). Darrius Phillips led the way for Seton Hall Prep (16-3) with 19 points and 14 rebounds in the loss. These two teams could meet again in nine days in the Essex County Tournament semifinals.

Wildwood Catholic Academy 46 Middle Twp. 38 | Girls

Carly Murphy (16 points) and Kaci Mikulski (14 points) led the Crusaders to a tight win over the rival Panthers. Ava Vogdes added nine points and ten rebounds in the game for Catholic (17-4). Jada Elston (12 points) and McKenzie Palek (11 points) led the way for Middle (17-6) in the loss.

St. Thomas Aquinas 83 Colonia 33 | Girls

After back to back losses, St. Thomas Aquinas (16-5) defeated GMC Red Division rival Colonia (11-10) 83-33. The Trojans held Colonia to a 17-1 lead to end the first quarter before going ahead 47-14 at halftime. Amarilis Shubick and Leah Crosby both finished with 18 points for St. Thomas Aquinas.
