Andrew Gross had a goal and two assists to lead Middletown North to a second straight win in the Mayor’s Cup.  The Lions avenged a 5-2 loss to their crosstown rival on opening night.  Jack Turner and Jimmy Mullarney scored in the first period to give North a 2-1 lead at the end of one.  Gross scored in the third in what proved to be the game-winning goal and Ryan Cook added an empty netter.  Lucas Campos and Justin Ferlanti scored for the Eagles.  Luke Chrzan had 22 saves in net for the Lions, who are now 8-1-4 in their last 13 games.
