Manasquan 56 Red Bank Catholic 47 | Boys | WOBM Christmas Classic

Senior Jason Larned had a career high 21 points and Griffin Linstra had 16 points and 12 rebounds to pace the Warriors to a 6th straight win and a spot in the Jim Ruhnke Bracket championship against Toms River North.  Tyler Burnham had 13 points for the Caseys (4-2).

Toms River North 40 Central Regional 39 | Boys | WOBM Christmas Classic

Sherrod Nelson scored 10 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Mariners (5-1) to a come from behind victory and earn a spot in the Jim Ruhnke Bracket championship against top seed Manasquan.  Nelson broke a 33-33 tie with a free throw then knocked down a jumper and came up with a steal and a layin before sinking two free throws that proved to be the difference.  Miles Chevalier knocked down a three-pointer at the buzzer to make it a one point game.

Ranney 73 Tottenville (NY) 52 | Boys | Albert E. Martin Buc Classic Semifinal

A career day from senior wing Drew Buck gave the Panthers the boost they needed to reach the Buc Classic title game. Buck poured in a career-best 30 points and also had 11 rebounds for red-hot Ranney (5-0). Buck has logged a double-double in three of the four games he’s played this season. Guard MeSean Williams also had a career-high 18 points for the Panthers on Thursday. Ranney will face Red Bank Regional in the Buc Classic final on Thursday evening.

Red Bank Regional 53 Port Richmond (NY) 28 | Boys | Albert E. Martin Buc Classic Semifinal

Suffocating defense and crisp shooting was the plan of attack that worked for the Bucs in another lopsided holiday tournament win. Red Bank Regional (5-1) is rolling under second year head coach George Sourlis as 10 different players got into the box score on Thursday night. Zayier Dean led all scorers with a game-high 15 points and Jameson Ackerman put up 12 more in the win. RBR outscored the Raiders 30-15 in the second half. The Bucs will match up against Ranney in the Buc Classic tournament final on Saturday night.

Trinity Hall 40 Cherokee 24 | Girls | Score at the Shore Semifinal

The Monarchs were able to pull away in the fourth quarter to knock off a tough Chiefs squad and reach the Score at the Shore championship game. Harvard commit Nina Emnace led the way with a game-high 19 points in the win. Grace Feeney added nine points as Trinity Hall (4-2) picked up its fourth-straight win. Brielle Alaba knocked down three triples on her way to a team-high 13 points in the loss for Cherokee (3-2). Trinity Hall will take on Mainland for the Score at the Shore title on Friday.

Montclair Immaculate 48 Ewing 39 | Girls | Holiday Hoopfest

No. 5 Montclair Immaculate (6-0) remains undefeated following  48-39 win over No. 7 Ewing (4-2). After a close first quarter, Immaculate pushed the lead to 30-14 at halftime. Despite a 7-0 run from Ewing and Michigan commit Te’Yala Delfosse, the Lady Lions extended the deficit to 40-26 after three quarters. Delfosse finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds while St. Joe’s commit Rhian Stokes led all scorers with 14 points and seven rebounds. Nila Giraud had 12 points for Montclair Immaculate.
