Red Bank Regional 64 CBA 59 | Boys

Zayier Dean scored 22 points including the go-ahead basket on a spectacular spinning drive and the Bucs beat the Colts for the second straight year.  Dean had 11 points in the third as RBR built a 51-43 lead.  The Colts opened the fourth quarter with a 9-0 run highlighted by six straight points from Connor Andree.  Jameson Ackerman had 16 and Ryan Fisher added 12 as the Bucs improved to 3-1 on the season.

Colts Neck 51 Marlboro 44 | Boys

Michael Belcher and Vova Trotsko took over a close game in the fourth quarter to give the Cougars a third straight win to open the season.  Belcher finished with 17 points and Trotsko had 10.  The Cougars had a 34-33 lead through three quarters and opened the final quarter with a 6-0 run and never relinquished the lead.  Daniel Elmasri led the Mustangs with 16.

Colonia 58 South Brunswick 28 | Boys

Two-time reigning North 2, Group 3 Champions, Colonia improved to 2-1 on the season following a dominant 58-28 victory over GMC Red Division foe South Brunswick who still looks for their first win. 6’6 sophomore Aiden Derkack with 18 points in the first half allowed the Patriots to take a commanding 41-9 lead at halftime which would help them stay ahead throughout the rest of the contest. Derkack finished with 22 points, 15 rebounds and five assists.

Camden 54 Camden Catholic 47 | Boys

The Panthers stayed undefeated on the season after fending off a late charge from the Fighting Irish in an Olympic Conference clash. Newly-minted Kentucky commit Billy Richmond dropped a game-high 23 points, including a trio of tremendous dunks in the victory. Teron Murray added 14 points in the win for Camden (3-0). Luke Kennevan cashed in for a team-high 20 points, while Seamus Bieg chipped in with 10 points in the loss for Camden Catholic (1-3).
