Billy Moloney, Hollis Humphries and Noah Jones all scored goals for the Crimson on Thursday night while Julian Melendez made 17 saves. Pingry (0-1) made things interesting in the final seconds as a “Hail Mary” type shot was milliseconds away from forcing a tie.

Michael Ferlanti had two goals and an assist to give the Eagles a second straight home win to start the season. The Eagles trailed 1-0 before Owen Oglevee tied the game at one late in the first period. Midd. South scored three goals in the second to put the game away. Ferlanti’s pair of goals came in the second along with Luke Rohrmann.
