Watchung Hills 4 Pingry 3 (OT) | Girls
The Warriors and Big Blue delivered one of the most exciting soccer games to date in the 2022 season. After trailing 1-0 at the half, Watchung Hills (11-0) rallied once – and then a second time – with Ava Prisco’s golden goal in the 89th minute being the difference as the Warriors edged past Pingry (6-4) for the victory. Pingry’s Maya Muwayhid and Watchung Hills’ Ava Tomasso each scored a pair of goals.

Allentown 3 Hightstown 2 | Girls

Sophomore Amanda Hoglund kicked off the second with a score but Hightstown answered with a pair of goals from Charlotte Garcia and Angelina Benitez to tie the game at 2-2 late. However, Amanda Hoglund would score again in the 72nd minute to lead Allentown to victory.

Holmdel 4 Shore Regional 0 | Boys
David Weiner scored a pair of goals to lead the Hornets to a 10-1 mark in 2022. Weiner opened the scoring off a feed from Stepan Kapranov in the 13th minute. Kapranov added a second assist on a beautiful service to Aidan Hynes who headed home the second goal of the match. Winer and Jaime Palmer added second-half goals. Holmdel will be the #3 seed in the upcoming Shore Conference boys’ soccer tournament.
