Sterling 47 Haddonfield 39 | Boys

The Knights pulled away late in a back-and-forth battle with the Haddons. Caleb Mundell took over down the stretch and scored a team-high 13 points for Sterling (7-1). Matthew Morris scored a team-high 13 points for Haddonfield (6-2) in the loss.

Ranney 54 Rumson-Fair Haven 42 | Boys

Isaac Hester had 23 points and a highlight reel blocked shot to lead the Panthers (3-4) to its third consecutive win.  Drew Buck added 14 for Ranney, who built a 44-33 lead in the third quarter before Rumson went on a 9-1 run to get within three at 45-42.  But the Panthers closed the game with a 9-0 run to pick up a quality road win.

St. Joseph (Metuchen) 58 South Brunswick 55 | Boys

St. Joseph (Metuchen)(5-2) picked up back to back wins following a close 58-55 victory over GMC Red Division rival South Brunswick (4-4). Jeremy Clayville knocked down five first half three pointers to give St. Joe’s a 42-29 lead at halftime. However, South Brunswick would tie and take the lead late in the fourth where a pair of clutch free throws from Josh Ingram secured the win. Ingram and Jeremy Clayville both finished with 18 points.

Trinity Hall 60 Middletown South 35 | Girls

Nina Emnace had six three-pointers for 18 to lead a long-range shooting attack as the Monarchs connected on 13 from beyond the arc to improve to 9-1 on the season.  Teagan Drennan had three triples in the first quarter and finished with 11.  Middletown South’s Amanda McGregor led the Eagles with 11.
