No. 3 Gill St. Bernard’s (8-3) picked up a third straight win following an 86-53 victory over Watchung Hills (8-3). The Knights jumped out to a 39-20 lead at halftime thanks to a big scoring effort from Georgetown commit Denver Anglin and five star recruit Mackenzie Mgbako through the first two quarters and extended the deficit to as many as 30 in the fourth quarter. Anglin finished with 25 points while Mgbako had 36 to go along with 20 rebounds. Despite the loss fans for Watchung Hills had much to cheer about as Elijah Lewis led all scorers with 39 points and set a new school single game record by doing so. St. Augustine 59 Millville 55 | Boys

The Hermits earned a hard-fought victory over the Thunderbolts on Thursday to bolster its lead in the Cape-Atlantic League National division. Semaj Bethea led the way with a team-high 14 points as four Hermits reached double-figures in the win. Ethan Fox (13 points), Elijah Brown (12 points), and Jack Schleicher (11 points) rounded out a balanced attack from St. Augustine (9-0). Jabbar Barriento dropped a game-high 15 points in the loss for Millville (8-3).
