CBA 3 Don Bosco 1

Thomas Mantellino’s second period snipe kickstarted the Colts as they controlled the Ironmen and scored a win over a fellow top-three ranked team in New Jersey. Following a loss to Delbarton last week, CBA (9-1) has rattled off four straight wins. Don Bosco (9-1-1) suffers their first loss of the season despite a 36-save effort from James Tarabocchia. CBA is unbeaten in their last nine games against Bosco in a streak that dates back to Dec. 11, 2019.

Middletown North 4 Chatham 4

Ronan Curry’s second goal of the game in the third period helped Chatham avoid an upset on the road.   Middletown North raced out to a 2-0 lead on goals from Joseph Wall and Ryan Cook and took the lead two more times thanks to Andrew Gross and Thomas Baron.  But Chatham clawed its way back to tie the game on three different occasions.  After Baron gave Middletown North a 4-3 lead, the Cougars responded in just five seconds with Curry’s wrist shot from the right circle.
