St. Thomas Aquinas 69 Colonia 46 | Boys

No. 7 St. Thomas Aquinas (12-1) defeats Colonia (10-2) 69-46 in a rematch of last year’s Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament Final. After trailing to end the first quarter Colonia went on a 7-0 run sparked by freshman Aiden Derkack to take a brief lead before falling behind 35-30 at halftime. St. Thomas Aquinas extended their lead to 20 in the fourth quarter as Michael “Deuce” Jones capped off the night with 16 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds for a triple double.

Cherokee 65 Shawnee 52 | Boys

Freshman Louis Galasso scored a game-high 20 points, as the Chiefs pulled away from the rival Renegades late. Judd Holt added 16 points, while Keishon Sellers scored 12 points in the win for Cherokee (7-4). Ryan Senft scored a team-high 17 points for Shawnee (4-6) in the loss.

Haddonfield 48 Pemberton 27 | Boys

The Bulldogs outscored the Hornets 17-5 in the third quarter to create a cushion and cruise to their third-straight win. Ted Bond knocked down a trio of triples on his way to a game-high 18 points for the Haddons. Sam Narducci chipped in with ten points in the win for Haddonfield (9-3). A.J. Lemons scored a team-high eleven points in the loss for Pemberton (9-2).
