Millville 41 Thomas Jefferson (PA) 10 | Battle at the Beach
The Thunderbolts turned in an impressive debut performance with a convincing victory over a traditional Pennsyvania powerhouse. Jacob Zamot threw for 360 yards and four touchdowns to pace the Bolts offensively. Lotzeir Brooks hauled in two long touchdowns, racking up 183 receiving yards in the win for Millville (1-0). Millville heads to Rutgers University next week for a showdown with Irvington at the Rumble on the Raritan.

Holy Spirit 34 Cherokee 31 | Battle at the Beach
It was a back and forth battle all day long between the Spartans and the Chiefs before Mason Forte connected on a field goal as time expired to lift Spirit to victory. Sean Burns threw for over 350 yards and four touchdowns in the win for the Spartans, while Jahcere Ward rushed for 170 yards and a TD in the win. Stony Brook commit Brandon “Bam” Boria rushed for 195 yards and a TD for the Chiefs in the loss, while Cherokee QB Ryan Bender rushed for a score and threw for 2 TDs.
