We have plenty of highlights as the girls finish off the 2020 season with stellar performances and big moments from all around the state.


Immaculate Heart 1 Montclair Kimberley 1 (4-3 PK’s) | North East Non-Public Championship

After Immaculate Heart and Montclair Kimberley got through 100 minutes of soccer with one goal apiece, IHA secured a gritty victory in the PK round with big kicks and even bigger stops. Senior keeper Lauryn Mockler made 10 saves in the win, including one in the penalty kick round.

Rumson-Fair Haven 3 Wall 2 (2OT) | Central East B Championship

Two of the Shore Conference’s top girls soccer teams faced off for a Central Jersey title. Coming in with a combined record of 29-1, it was a lock this game would be close. Sent into double overtime tied at two, Katie Aglione of Rumson-Fair Haven scored off the rebound of a corner kick to secure the win and the title for the Bulldogs. Aglione had two goals on the day. Hannah Grabicki had two goals for Wall in the loss.

Red Bank Catholic 4 St. John Vianney 1 | Central-East Non-Public Championship

Morgan Cupo scored two goals and Emma Bruther and Gianna Romeo found the net in RBC’s dominating effort on the road. Cupo and Bruther close out the year with goals in six straight games. Robbinsville 6 Del Val 1 | Central West A Championship

Robbinsville (9-3-1) capped off the 2020 season with a Central West title following a dominating 6-1 win over Delaware Valley (8-4). The story of the afternoon was junior Sophie Berman, as she would finish with five goals.

Ocean City 9 Absegami 1 | South East B Championship

The Red Raiders didn’t get an opportunity to defend their Group 3 state title this season, but Ocean City rolled to a regional championship. Rutgers commit Faith Slimmer scored four goals in her final game, to give her an even 100 for her career. Summer Reimet added a pair of goals to help Ocean City finish the 2020 campaign undefeated.

Eastern 3 Washington Twp. 0 | South West D Championship

The Vikings put together a huge second half against the Minutemaids to win a regional championship and cap off an undefeated season. Emily Eustace and Hayley Marsden each netted goals as Eastern scored twice in under two minutes to seize control of a tight contest. Army-commit Cami Silvestro tallied an assist and the final goal of the afternoon.
