We cap off Week 2 with more great action around the Garden State!

Somerville 28 St. Joe-Metuchen | Big Central Conference

Brenden Pacheco threw two touchdown passes and Chase Insabella had a fumble recovery that set up a touchdown and a pick six to seal the Pioneers third straight win to open the season.  St. Joe-Metuchen took a 17-14 lead at the half on Jeremy DeCaro’s second touchdown catch with :20 seconds left in the second, but lightning and rain created a near three hour delay right before the start of the second half.  Josh Rodriguez caught a 23-yard touchdown pass in the third to give Somerville the lead for good and Insabella closed it out with his interception for a score.
