Creekside (GA) 49 St. Joe’s (Mont.) 20 | Non-Conference
Clemson commit Gary Walker had two third quarter touchdown runs and Boston College commit Armani Hill had a pair of second half touchdown catches as the Class 4A Georgia state champion busted open a 14-13 halftime lead with 28 straight points to send St. Joe’s to 0-2 for the first time since 1984. The Seminoles produced 500 yards of total offense with QB Savoy Nichols delivering two touchdown passes and scornig two touchdown runs. The Green Knights took a 10-0 lead on a Stalin Knwolden 12-yard touchdown catch rom Ralph Tristani. Kyle Salinas had two field goals and David Forster had a 68-yard touchdown catch in the 4th quarter in a losing effort.

St. Augustine 30 Atlantic City 20 | Mid-Atlantic Pigskin Classic
Sophomore quarterback Dylan Dellanoce threw for 229 yards and three touchdowns, while the Hermits’ special teams unit blocked two punts as St. Augustine (2-0) took down Atlantic City (0-2) in the Mid-Atlantic Pigskin Classic. The WJFL American Division matchup was played outside New Jersey, with Salesianum hosting the divisional clash in Delaware. St. Augustine Head Coach Bill Belton returned to the sideline after tearing his Achilles while celebrating the Hermits’ Week 0 victory.

St. Joe’s (Met.) 43 Bridgewater-Raritan 36 | Big Central Conference
It was a huge Big Central Conference clash on paper, and it more than lived up to the hype. St. Joe’s (Met.) topped Bridgewater-Raritan 43-36 on Saturday afternoon in an instant Labor Day weekend classic! Down 28-8 at the half, the Panthers roared back to take a 29-28 lead early in the fourth. Two St. Joe’s scores followed to make it 43-29 midway through the quarter, but B-R got a touchdown and an onside kick recovery to give themselves a chance with 2:00 to go. Facing a 4th and 1, the Falcons lined pushed back RB Jahmier Black and got the clinching turnover on downs.
The star of the day for the Falcons was junior QB Cole Seyler who, despite throwing three interceptions, had 270 pass yards, four touchdown passes to four different receivers, and a touchdown run in his first varsity start! For B-R, Black also had a strong day with 144 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Paulsboro 8 Salem 6 | West Jersey Football League
The Red Raiders engineered a late drive to score a key divisional victory on the road against the Rams. Jahsir Johnson and Jeremiah Carr connected for a 15-yard touchdown to tie the game, then hooked up one more time for the go-ahead two-point conversion in the victory. Frankie Damminger’s interception sealed the deal for Paulsboro (2-0) in its first meeting with the Rams since 2023. Cash Parsley rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown in the loss for Salem (0-2).
