We’ve got two great Saturday games for you as the state finals are set in Non-Public baseball.  Check out all the action between Delbarton vs. Don Bosco and Saint Augustine at RBC!

Delbarton 10 Don Bosco Prep 7 | Non-Public “A” North Championship

It may have taken three hours and 22 minutes, but the Green Wave were finally able to capture their first sectional title after a four-year hiatus. Christian Zebrowski entered the game in the second inning and proceeded to shut down the Ironmen with 5.1 innings of scoreless work on the mound. Delbarton (30-2) trailed 7-4 after two innings and rallied for six unanswered runs to take the lead in the sixth inning. Miles Handy’s two-run triple put the Green Wave up for good. Don Bosco (25-4) saw a great year come to a close after a hot start early in the game. Delbarton will face St. Augustine in the Non-Public A final next week.

Saint Augustine 12 Red Bank Catholic 2 | Non-Public “A” South Championship

The Hermits set the tone with two runs in the first, five in the second and three more in the third on their way to returning to the state championship game.  Jake Meyers had the big hit in the second with a two run triple with Brady Jackson adding a two run double in the third.  Northwestern commit Matt Kouser pitched five innings giving up just two runs as the game ended due to the mercy rule after the fifht.  Saint Augustine was in the state finals from 2016-2022 and returns to the big stage this Thursday against Don Bosco Prep.
