Morris Knolls 7 Wayne Hills 2 | North 1 Group 3 Semifinal

Luke Dickerson crushed his 17th home run of the season to help propel top-seeded Morris Knolls (25-5) to their second-straight North 1 Group 3 sectional final appearance. Dickerson, who was just listed as a  2024 MLB Draft Top 100 prospect by MLB.com, is one home run away from tying the state’s single season record of 18 homers. The Golden Eagles will host West Essex in the sectional final Monday afternoon.

Hunterdon Central 2 Ridge 1 | North 2 Group 4 Semifinal

Nick Augusta’s RBI single in the fourth inning broke a 1-1 tie and the duo of Jared Jacobus and Anthony Petino combined for six shutout innings in relief to earn Hunterdon Central a matchup with Bridgewater-Raritan in the North 2 Group 4 championship on Monday.  Jacobus got out of a bases loaded jam in the second and pitched 3.2 innings with no hits allowed and seven strikeouts.  Petino came on in the fifth and got the final seven outs.

Delsea 5 Cherry Hill West 4 | South Group 3 Semifinal

Zach Maxwell came through in the clutch, breaking a 4-4 tie in the seventh as the Crusaders avenged a loss to the Lions in the Diamond Classic final. Ethan DuBois drove in a pair of runs as part of a four-run first inning for fourth-seeded Delsea (25-3). Alabama commit Jon Young Jr. tied the game in the sixth with a two-run double in the loss for top-seeded Cherry Hill West (24-5). The Crusaders reach the SJ Group 3 final for a third-straight year and will host Shawnee in the championship game on Monday.
