Roselle Catholic 80 Camden Catholic 55 | Boys

Roselle Catholic took a lead inside the first 30 seconds of this game and never squandered it as the Lions ran roughshod against Camden Catholic. Uncommitted senior Derrick Bueno had a game-high 22 points and also tallied nine rebounds. UConn commit Corey Floyd Jr. flashed some serious ups with a pair of thunderous dunks as part of a 17-point performance. Temple commit Zach Hicks led the Irish with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Patrick School 78 Gill St. Bernard’s 67

The Patrick School (5-1) defeated Gill St. Bernard’s (2-2) in a comeback victory between two of New Jersey’s powerhouse programs. After a close back-and-forth battle, GSB would take a 59-55 lead to end the third quarter. Then five-star recruit Zion Cruz led the Patrick School comeback in the fourth quarter. Cruz ended the evening with 30 points.

St. John Vianney 63 Saddle River Day 53 | Girls

A matchup not usually seen until the Tournament of Champions came early in 2021. The Lancers and Rebels battled back and forth until the fourth quarter, as the Lancers pushed out to a ten-point lead and never looked back. It was the defense of SJV that truly propelled them to victory as they had seven steals against the usually high-scoring Saddle River Day offense. Senior captain Katie Hill dominated from start to finish as she had 23 points and nine rebounds, while Madison St. Rose once again proved her offensive prowess with 22 points.

Lenape 52 Cherry Hill West 37 | Boys

The Indians pulled away from the Lions late to bounce back after a tough loss at Trenton Catholic on Friday night. Derek Simpson led all scorers with 17 points in the victory. Tayvon Gaither added 14 points for Lenape (2-1). Justin Smith scored a team-high 10 points for West (2-4) in the loss.

Haddonfield 55 Oakcrest 29 | Girls

The Bulldogs (5-0) remain undefeated after a dominant performance against the Falcons. Loyola commit Keegan Douglas led all scorers with 23 points in the victory. Nay Nay Clark did most of the heavy lifting for Oakcrest (4-2), scoring a team-high 22 points in the loss.
