Camden 67 The Patrick School 52 | Boys

Kentucky commit DJ Wagner took over down the stretch, as the senior scored a team-high 18 points in the win. Billy Richmond added 14 points in the win for the Panthers (2-0). Brandon Lee scored a game-high 21 points for the Celtics (0-4), while Jaiden Glover went for 20 points in the loss.

Don Bosco Prep 52 St. Peter’s Prep 47 | Boys | HoopGroup NJ Tip-Off

Five-star junior Dylan Harper helped the Ironmen kickstart a 12-3 run in the third quarter which ultimately led to a lead that Don Bosco (2-0) would never relinquish. Harper led all scorers with 25 points and consistently showed why he’s one of the best players in the country. Nico Pena and Jackson Tindall scored in double figures in the loss.

Rutgers Prep 71 Paul VI 48 | Boys | HoopGroup NJ Tip-Off

The reigning Non-Public A South sectional champions are ready to defend their title this season. Cameron Piggee earned MVP honors for dropping a game-high 25 points in the win. Jadin Collins threw down a pair of monster jams and piled up 16 points, nine rebounds and six assists to help Rutgers Prep improve to 2-0 on the young season.

Camden Catholic 63 Overbrook 35 | Boys

The Fighting Irish put on a show in the second half against the Rams to cruise to a victory at the 10th annual Jimmy V Tournament. Tobe Nwobu continued his fast start to the season for the Irish, dropping a game-high 21 points. Luke Kennevan chipped in with 19 points, while Braelen Crump added 16 points in the win for Camden Catholic (2-0). Devon Johnson scored a team-high 12 points in the loss for Overbrook (0-2).

St. John Vianney 70 Bishop McNamara (MD) 54 | Girls

Zoe Brooks was spectacular with 26 points, five rebounds, five assists, and six steals to outduel UConn commit Qadence Samuels and lead the Lancers to a win against a nationally ranked-foe in the season opener.  Julia Karpell added 16 points, five rebounds, and five assists.  The Lancers trailed 28-26 at the half before opening up a 10-point lead at the end of three quarters.  Samuels had 22 for Bishop McNamara who dressed just seven players.
