Morris Catholic 74 Life Center 60 | Girls | Dr. Gerald Glisson Classic

The preseason No. 1 team in New Jersey showed why they’re deserving of that ranking after a big early season win. Star junior Mia and Mya Pauldo combined to score 40 points for the reigning Non-Public B state champs, Morris Catholic (2-0). Mia scored a team-high 27 points and tacked on six assists. Impact freshman Jax Edelman tallied 18 points and five rebounds in the win. The Crusaders are a consensus Top-12 ranked team in the nation. Life Center (1-2) is led by star guard Kiyomi McMiller, who paced her offense with a game-high 33 points.

Rancocas Valley 65 Hightstown 52 | Boys | 11th Annual Jimmy V Showcase

The Red Devils put the pedal down in the second half to pick up a bounce-back victory over the Rams at the 11th annual Jimmy V Showcase. Antonio Brito led the way with a game-high 15 points as four Red Devils reached double-figures in the win. Montre Wilson and Edwin Hall finished with 12 points each for Rancocas Valley (1-1). Yasin Elhossieni and Ben Duverglas went for a game-high 15 points in the loss for Hightstown (0-2).

Pope John 51 Manchester Township 37 | Girls | She Got Game Shore Games

Addison Platt had a complete game with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks, 4 assists and three steals as Pope John raced out to a 14-3 first quarter lead on the way to a double digit victory at the She Got Game Shore Games in Oceanport.  Manchester’s Devyn Quigley led all scorers with 22 points.
