Colts Neck 17 Timber Creek 14 | Central Group 4

(4) Colts Neck (6-3) defeated (5) Timber Creek (3-7) 17-14 to advance to the Central Jersey, Group 4 Semifinals. Colts Neck would take a 14-0 lead at halftime on touchdowns from Chris Scully and Eric Louriero. Timber Creek answered with a score in the third and a late 24 yard touchdown in the fourth quarter from Jonathan Harris to tie the game at 14. Following an interception, Christian Monteforte kicked a 25 yard game-winning field goal as time expired for an emotional victory. Long Branch 50 Freehold Boro 12 | South Group 4

Christian Rodriguez threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Green Wave into the South Group 4 sectional semifinals and a date with Ocean City. Rodriguez threw a 60 yard bomb to Mikey Hall and a 47 yard missile to Ka’Jion Thorne. The Green Wave also had 7 sacks and a blocked punt for a touchdown. Nottingham 28 Haddon Heights 14 | South Group 2 Quarterfinal

The Northstars’ magical season continues another week. Nottingham (9-0) won its first playoff games in eight seasons on Saturday thanks to a 230-yard rushing performance in a win over Haddon Heights (5-4). Isaiah Barnes led the way with 95 yards on 17 carries and two athletic touchdowns – both of which came in the first quarter. The win sets Nottingham up with a big test against second-seeded Willingboro next week.
