Mount Olive 41 Morris Knolls 13 | North 1 Group 4 Quarterfinal

The Marauders avenged an early loss at the right time to advance in the state playoffs. Hunter Perez exploded with 25 carries, 157 yards and three touchdown runs – plus a 36-yard touchdown pass – in a convincing win for Mount Olive (8-2). Morris Knolls (6-4) trailed 13-0 at the half but battled back in during the third quarter to make it a four-point game at one point. Mount Olive is not set to face top-seed Northern Highlands next week.

Woodbury 20 Maple Shade 3 | South Group 1 Quarterfinal

The Thundering Herd found themselves in a battle against the Wildcats, but pulled away in the fourth quarter to advance in the South Group 1 playoffs. Teddy Lockhart rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns on the afternoon as Woodbury (9-0) remains undefeated. Thomas Kaliamouris connected on a 23-yard field goal in the loss for Maple Shade (6-4). Woodbury will host fourth-seeded Penns Grove in the South Group 1 semifinals next week.

Salem 51 Keyport 0 | Central Group 1 Quarterfinal

The second-seeded Rams raced out to a 21-0 lead over the seventh-seeded Red Raiders after the first quarter and never looked back in their playoff opener. Anthony Selby rushed for a score and caught a pair of touchdown passes in the first half. Jahki Coates threw both first-half TD passes, and also rushed for two scores. It was the third shutout of the season for Salem (8-1). The Rams will host third-seeded Audubon in the sectional semifinal round next week.

Manasquan 39 Holmdel 7 | Central Group 3 Quarterfinal

Brett Patten threw for a school-record five touchdowns with Cole Kozlowski catching five balls for 174 yards and 4 scores in a dominating Warriors home win on Saturday afternoon. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights from Manasquan:
