There was plenty of hardware to hand out on Saturday with two regional championship games and a non-public sectional final at MetLife Stadium, plus another sectional final taking place in South Jersey. Check back throughout the night for all of the highlights and reaction!

St. Peter’s Prep 21 Don Bosco Prep 14 | Non-Public Group 4 Championship

St. Peter’s Prep’s magical season has ended in glory. The Marauders completed a heart-pounding fourth quarter comeback (for the fourth time this season) to capture the Non-Public Group 4 crown. Tahj Bullock was masterful late in the game, scoring on a touchdown run with five minutes to play. Jelani Mason took in the game-winning two-point conversion right away to give St. Peter’s a lead it would never squander.

The Indians trailing 17-0 in the second quarter scored 21 unanswered points to eventually take their first lead late in the fourth when quarterback Tommy Moran found Elijah Lugo on a 38 yard touchdown with 5:51 left. Pinto had 201 yards on the ground and 179 yards in the air. Boonton rallied from 14-0 down and took a 21-14 lead on a Danny Portas 77-yard touchdown pass to Michael Kreitz early in the fourth quarter. But Pinto responded with a 63-yard TD run on a fake reverse to tie the game and the Owls QB engineered the game-winning drive that culminated in the pass to Wagner.
