St. Peter’s Prep 21 Don Bosco Prep 14 | Non-Public Group 4 Championship

St. Peter’s Prep’s magical season has ended in glory. The Marauders completed a heart-pounding fourth quarter comeback (for the fourth time this season) to capture the Non-Public Group 4 crown. Tahj Bullock was masterful late in the game, scoring on a touchdown run with five minutes to play. Jelani Mason took in the game-winning two-point conversion right away to give St. Peter’s a lead it would never squander.

Pinto had 201 yards on the ground and 179 yards in the air. Boonton rallied from 14-0 down and took a 21-14 lead on a Danny Portas 77-yard touchdown pass to Michael Kreitz early in the fourth quarter. But Pinto responded with a 63-yard TD run on a fake reverse to tie the game and the Owls QB engineered the game-winning drive that culminated in the pass to Wagner.
