 CBA 1 Seton Hall Prep 0 | Non-Public A Final

Will Thygeson’s go-ahead goal in the 77th minute proved to be the difference as the Colts edged by the Pirates to win the battle for the No. 1 ranking in New Jersey. CBA (19-1) did not allow a single goal throughout the state playoffs in their quest to capture the eighth state championship in program history. Seton Hall Prep (19-3) came close with a pair of near goals from junior Eddie Krupski.

Gill St. Bernard’s 0 Saint Rose 0 (GSB wins 3-2 in PK’s) | Non-Public B Final

Michael Dumiec made two saves in penalty kicks to secure Gill St. Bernard’s fourth consecutive state championship.  Saint Rose keeper Jack Harmon had 12 saves and was the main reason the match was scoreless through 100 minutes.  Dumiec made a save in the first round while GSB converted three straight penalties setting the stage for Dumeic to make one more save to seal the championship.  Gill St. Bernard’s closed out its season with seven straight clean sheets.
