Don Bosco Prep 31 Delbarton 10

It’s been nearly two years since the Ironmen put up back-to-back wins but they finally accomplished that feat Saturday afternoon. Don Bosco (3-3) racked up 446 yards of total offense in an impressive effort against Delbarton (3-3). Nick Minicucci had his best game as a starter and led the way with 197 yards and two TD passes. Ronnie Heath carried the rock 26 times and collected 183 yards and an additional score.

JSZ’s Jay Cook has the highlights from Morristown:

DePaul 21 Irvington 0

DePaul (5-1) defeated Irvington (4-2) 21-0 to pick up back to back wins. The Spartans opened the game with a 72 yard touchdown from AJ Rodriguez to Jalin Johnson to put DePaul up 7-0 to end the first quarter. Rodriguez would end the afternoon with 249 passing yards and two touchdowns, but the story of the night was the Spartans defense; they shut out an Irvington team that was averaging 20 points per game coming in. Syracuse commit Q’Yaeir Price had four sacks. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights from Wayne:

Rumson-Fair Haven 21 Colts Neck 6

Geoff Schroeder had three touchdown runs and the RFH defense held off a second-half surge from Colts Neck to remain unbeaten. Schroeder gave Rumson a 14-0 lead at the half on his first two TD runs before Chris Scully got Colts Neck within 14-6. The Cougars had a couple of chances to draw even but RFH produced two fourth quarter turnovers before Rumson put the game away with a 43-yard Schroeder TD run in the final minute. John Lista led the Bulldogs with 3 sacks on defense.

JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights from Colts Neck:
