Roselle Catholic 96 Union Catholic 28 | Boys
No. 2 Roselle Catholic (8-1) defeated Union Catholic (0-6) 96-28 at the SFIC High School Hoopfest Showcase to pick up an eighth straight win. The Lions went ahead 47-10 at halftime thanks to an offensive explosion in the first two quarters led by five star recruit and UNC commit Simeon Wilcher. CBA 53 St. John Vianney 47 | Boys
Pat Lautato had 23 points to lead the Colts to a perfect 8-0 mark. Leading 47-43 at the end of three quarters, CBA slowed down the pace as both teams went scoreless for the first four minutes. Colin Cavanaugh scored 10 points in the fourth quarter and Alex Bauman had a complete stat line with 8 points, 7 boards and 5 assists as the Caseys avenged a 61-59 loss to the Mustangs in the WOBM Christmas Classic final.
