JSZ brings you action from three great high school basketball matchups on the first Saturday of 2025. Camden and Lenape lock horns in the Olympic Conference, St. Augustine goes to battle with Atlantic City in the Cape-Atlantic League, plus The Patrick School collides with St. Rose in a fantastic non-conference tilt. Lenape 63 Camden 59 | Boys

The Indians took control with a 9-0 run in the latter stages of the fourth quarter as they knocked off the Panthers for their sixth-straight win. Nolan Barnes scored six of his game-high 24 points in the final frame to lead the way in the victory. Mehki Carter hit four triples on his way to a 16-point game for Lenape (6-2). Taavi Mateen led a balanced attack from The High with a team-high 14 points. Emmanuel Joe-Samuel added 12 points, while Sitafa Hall chipped in with 11 points for Camden (2-2).

Atlantic City 60 St. Augustine 58 | Boys

Peaky Roseborough scored a team-high 20 points, as the Vikings hung on to beat the Hermits in one of the Cape-Atlantic League’s most intense rivalries. Chris Finks added 13 points in the win for AC (6-2). Rory Friel led the way with 21 points for St. Augustine (4-4), while Luke Maransky added 13 points in the loss.

Patrick School 75 Saint Rose 60 | Boys

Brandon Lee led the Celtics with 23 as Patrick School overcame a 17-11 first quarter deficit to pull away in the second half against the Purple Roses.  Evan Romano and Jayden Hodge shared high scoring honors with 20 points each.
