Roxbury 1 Delbarton 0 | Boys

We may have a new No. 1 ranked team in Morris County. Aiden Metz’s acrobatic goal in the 35th minute proved to be the difference for the Gaels in a 1-0 win over the Green Wave. In fact, Metz’s goal was the first time Roxbury (7-1) scored against Delbarton (5-4) since all the way back in 2013. Noah Camp made a season-high 10 saves in the win.

Monmouth Regional 2 St. John Vianney 2 | Boys

Anthony Cano’s free kick off the post late in the second half drew the Falcons level and 20 minutes of extra time could not produce a winner.  Cano opened the scoring with a first-half goal to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead through 40 minutes.  SJV senior Danny Herndon scored on a penalty kick in the 42nd minute and added another score to give the Lancers a 2-1 lead.  Cano and Herndon do all the damage in this Shore Conference draw.  JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights from Holmdel:
