St. Augustine 3 Hammonton 1 | Boys

Trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Hermits surged in the second half to stay undefeated and hand the Blue Devils their first loss of the season. Alex Clark netted a pair of goals while Drew Davis added a goal of his own in the win for St. Augustine (6-0). John Waddell scored the lone goal in the loss from Hammonton (3-1-1).

Howell 0 Holmdel 0 | Boys

The Rebels and Hornets played to a scoreless draw in a Shore Conference Group 2 match.  Both teams are in line to advance but goal differential could determine the winner of the group.  Howell (0-0-1 in Group 2) has matches with Manchester Township and Central Regional in group play.  Holmdel is 1-0-1 in group play and can clinch a spot in the SCT with a win over Central on September 29th.

Montclair 0 Montclair Kimberley Academy 0 | Boys

The first Battle of Montclair in 2023 ended in a scoreless draw after both the Mounties and Cougars had numerous chances to score. Montclair Kimberley Academy (1-0-2) got a 10-save effort from junior keeper Alex Provost. The Cougars played with 10 players for the final 32 minutes of this match with 10 men after being dished out a red card late in the first half. Montclair (4-0-1) came close to breaking through on a few opportunities.
