Rumson-Fair Haven 8 Wall 7 | South Group 2 | Boys

Luke Devlin broke a 7-7 tie with his fourth goal of the game with 5:43 remaining in the 4th to keep RFH (20-0) unbeaten and a spot in the Group 2 state championship against Summit. Wall had a 4-3 lead at the half and led 6-4 in the third quarter before Patrick Jamin (3 goals, 2 assists) and Devlin drew Rumson even. Logan Peters, John McCurry and Dylan Burns all had two goals each for the Crimson Knights. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has highlights and post-game reaction from Wall:


Ocean City 9 Shawnee 6 | South Group 3 | Boys

The Red Raiders flipped the script on the Renegades in the second half, outscoring them 6-1 on their way to winning the first sectional title in program history. Senior Jake Schneider led the way for the Ocean City offense, scoring four goals on the afternoon. Freshman Pat Grimley added two goals and an assist in the victory. Senior Tyler Korchak turned in a four-point performance with three goals and an assist in the loss for Shawnee.

Southern 14 Monroe 4 | South Group 4 | Boys

(4) Southern (16-4) defeated (3) Monroe (17-4) 14-4 to capture their first South Jersey, Group 4 Title since 2014. The Rams came out with a stifling offensive attack to take a 6-3 lead at halftime. In the third quarter they would extend the deficit to seven. Luke Bruther and Ryan Sininsky each finished with four goals.
