Cherokee 4 Mainland 1 | Diamond Classic Quarterfinal
Lehigh commit Dom Patrizi hit the go-ahead RBI single in the 7th inning, as the Chiefs knocked off the Mustangs to advance to the Joe Hartmann Diamond Classic semifinals. Jackson Edelman finished with eight strikeouts and scattered just three hits over 6+ innings of work to earn the win on the mound, while Shane Sax picked up the save. Jeremy Cheeseman and Blake Morgan also drove in runs for Cherokee (13-3). Florida commit Chase Petty struck out four in four innings of work for Mainland (13-2), and scored the Mustangs’ only run of the day.

Gloucester Catholic 9 West Deptford 1 | Diamond Classic Quarterfinal
The Rams punch their ticket to the Diamond Classic semifinals with a dominant win over the Eagles. Freshman Daviel Fernandez was lights out on the mound for fifth-seeded Gloucester Catholic (16-1), allowing one hit over five innings with eight strikeouts. Jeremy Wolf and Adam Gates each had a pair of RBIs in the win. Dan Maraffa knocked in the lone run in the loss for 13-seeded West Deptford (11-4-1).
