The Blue Devils dug deep to grab a hard-fought win in overtime against the Knights. Monmouth commit Faith Fedd-Robinson led the way with a game-high 24 points, plus 20 rebounds for Newark Central (14-9). Dyshana Austin scored 16 of her 20 points in the first half in the victory. Sasha Resnick finished with a team-high 16 points and a game-high 22 rebounds for West Essex (12-9).

Metuchen 53 Dunellen 11 | Girls | GMC Tournament | Preliminary Round

Metuchen (16-6) picked up a sixth straight win to advance to the First Round of the GMCT Tournament following a dominant 53-11 victory over Dunellen (15-6). The Bulldogs went ahead 34-8 entering halftime behind a 12 point performance from junior Kaitlyn Connors through two quarters. Connors finished with 14 while Ella Polakowski and Leah Honig both finished with eight points.
