Defending Group 3 state champion Moorestown picked up its 13th straight win with a 64-45 victory over Trenton Catholic to improve to (16-1). The Quakers, trailing briefly in the first quarter, would go ahead 31-25 at halftime before unleashing an unstoppable offensive attack in the fourth to go up by as many as 20. The Greene brothers combined to score 45 points to lead the Cougars to an overtime win over the Eagles. Ryan Greene scored a game-high 27 points, while Drew Greene went for 18. It’s the eighth straight win for East, which improves to (14-4) overall. Sidney Swanson led a balanced Eagles attack with 15 points in the loss.
