Colonia 62 Newark Collegiate 56 | Boys
It might not have been pretty, but the Patriots did their job to end their first losing streak of the 2024-25 season. Aiden Derkack went for a team-high 18 points and RJ Wortman stuffed the sheet with a 16-point, 16-rebound double-double as Colonia (17-3) put a two-game skid to a stop Monday night. Newark Collegiate (13-4) battled back from a 19-point deficit in the third to make it a four-point game in the fourth quarter before the Patriots shut the door. The Panthers’ Mejwad Dixon led all players with 21 points in the loss.

Donovan Catholic 59 Barnegat 48 | Boys
The Griffins pulled away in the fourth quarter to snap the Bengals’ eight-game winning streak. Ryan Jacobs led the way with 18 points in the win. James Gibbons had 16 points, while Gabe Feliciano added 14 points for Donovan (10-9). Todd Muhammad scored a game-high 19 points for Barnegat (13-6) in the loss.

Middletown North 56 Henry Hudson 46 | Boys
Eddie Lopez scored 20 and Nate Taburczy added 15 as the Lions used a 15-4 third quarter to win the Shore Conference’s “B” Coastal Division title with a season sweep of the Admirals. Jack Fitzpatrick led Henry Hudson with 22 points but the Lions improved to 15-6 and are currently on a seven game win streak.

Egg Harbor Township 43 Ocean City 34 | Girls
The Eagles went on the road and avenged a loss to the Red Raiders earlier in the season, clinching at least a share of the Cape-Atlantic League National Division title in the process. Alina Gonzalez poured in a game-high 15 points, while Ava Kraybill added 11 points in the victory for Egg Harbor Township (16-5). Gabby Henry finished with a team-high nine points in the loss for Ocean City (11-9).
